Fixed Wing training is available at no cost to all new members. Dues are prorated throughout the year for new members only.
To Join
Step 1: Fill out the online Membership form.
Step 2: Sign Indemnification Waiver.
Step 3: Review: Flight Map, Flight Line Protocols, General Facility Rules and Red Flag Protocols.
Step 4: Pay your membership dues below. We also accept Cash, Venmo, CC or Check at the field.
Step 5: You will get an email welcoming you to the club and issued gate and clubhouse entry codes once you have attended your new member orientation meeting. Schedule your orientation HERE.
Step 6: Make sure to send your picture or get one taken by any board member, have your AMA verified and submit your Indemnification Waiver.
Step 7: Check the clubhouse approximately 2-3 weeks after you join for your badge but you are good to fly.
Existing Membership Renewals - $250
To Renew
If you have been a member before, but not last year, you are considered a "new" member and will need to rejoin as a new member and re-pay the $50 initiation fee.

Step 4: Pay your membership dues below. We also accept Cash, Venmo, CC or Check at the field.
Step 5: You will get an email welcoming you to the club and issued gate and clubhouse entry codes once you have completed all membership forms.
Step 6: Make sure to send your picture or get a new one taken if you don't want us to use last year's picture. Have your AMA verified and submit your Indemnification waiver to any board member.
Step 7: Check the clubhouse approximately 2-3 weeks after you renew for your badge, but you are good to fly.
Reciprocal Club Flying Program
In order to allow the short-term use of the flying field by visiting, out-of-town RC pilots, the following conditions must be met:
- Visiting pilot’s primary residence is located outside Southern California
- Visiting pilot is a member of another AMA or MAAC affiliated club located outside Southern California
- Visiting pilot provides proof of membership in the AMA or MAAC
- Visiting pilot contacts Trabuco Flyers and arranges for an orientation at the field before first flight
- Visiting pilot pays $25 fee for up to two weeks flying privileges
- Visiting pilot privilege is limited to two consecutive weeks per year
- Visiting pilot privilege can be revoked due to violation of club flying protocols
- Visiting pilot program is offered at sole discretion of TF Board and may be revoked at any time
