Red Flag Warning Information
Our field will close when the County of Orange and the Orange County Fire Authority issues a Red Flag Warning.
If there is a Fire Weather Watch, the field will remain open, but we advise extreme caution when flying. Fire extinguishers are mandatory at all times.

What is a TFR?
A TFR is a Temporary Flight Restriction that is issued by the FAA. As a model airplane pilot, you are responsible to adhere to TFRs issued by the FAA. There are many Apps that can assist, including this one by SkyVector for TFR maps.
As an AMA FRIA site, we have been authorized to be able to fly up to 700' AGL by the FAA. See attached authorization HERE.
